What?! This ride of theirs just keeps going up up and up. Congrats! I’ve been a fan since debut and it gets me emotional like a proud parent each time something like this happens. Who knew one day I’d see them on my tv like what we’ve been getting lately.

A singing competition for vocal struggles....I hope they do a different song so it isn't so blatant. The competitiony to the Beatles this week wasn't kind to them.

I think the word you mean is comparision not competition. And the comparision isn't being made based off their musical abilities in any way. The media has been comparing them on the basis of the fan response and the fact that they are the first since the Beatles to have three #1 albums in the span of a year. That's all.

As the above user said the comparison had nothing to do with vocals and it's not like the Beatles were a group of Sinatras anyway lol. But ia that it's dumb for other reasons. Though 1D and the Spice Girls were also compared to them and it didn't hurt their success at all so meh

I feel like BH saw YG got BP on Colbert and in Coachella first so now they're making sure BTS is the first to appear on every single other show that has musical guests lmao

It's not like BTS hadn't been on every other late show last year. Colbert was only a matter of time and they were on AGT last year already so the Voice isn't all that surprising honestly considering it's on the same network. All these appearances were obviously planned to coincide with their tour dates/locations.
