Netizens sign petition asking to ban activities of YG Entertainment artists

With the recent controversies at YG Entertainment, petitioners have spoken up to request the suspension of the activities of the agency’s artists.

In a government petition that was posted on the Blue House’s petition bulletin board on June 12, the original petitioner wrote, “YG Entertainment celebrities are constantly getting involved in drug and marijuana cases and should stop their activities on all broadcasts.”

They continued, “YG Entertainment houses a large number of idol singers, actors, and entertainers. There have been countless drug scandals recently. To say that these are just suspicions, there are too many drug scandals occurring in one agency, which points to a serious problem inside the company.”

Lastly, they added, “They need to be stopped from their activities on all broadcasting media, and a thorough internal investigation on the agency must be conducted.”

On June 12, Dispatch reported that iKON’s B.I was accused of attempting to purchase drugs. Following the news, B.I departed from the group, and YG Entertainment confirmed his departure from both the group and the agency.

TBH I don't remember who, but I am pretty sure I saw several comments like that. I don't really care either way though, so no hard feelings! ♥ haha. I have no investment in iKon (and actually stayed away because B.I rubbed me wrong, specially after that punching video. That shit was scary.) and I too would love to see YG burn, I just personally don't feel like drugs are that big issue of an issue in B.I's case. he is just a dumb ass who thinks doing drugs will validate him as a rapper.

naw, i didn't take it as you having hard feelings towards me/my comment (if it was mine, at all lol), but i do appreciate different opinions that's why i asked/suggested it

i also have zero investment in iKon, hell i don't even know 1 song by name (maybe by hearing)

in my comment i said that i felt weird about people signing a petition to keep BI and i asked others if they felt the same (they all did), it was not about yes or no drugs, but just about who they support if that makes sense? i rubbed me the wrong way that they defend someone who obviously did wrong and deserves punishment, illegal is illegal, that was my point (also defending YG scared the shit out of me)

and agreed, he's a dumb ass and he called this upon himself
