Kang Daniel confirmed to make his solo debut in July

On June 27, the singer’s new agency KONNECT Entertainment announced, “Kang Daniel recently completed recording for his mini album, and his solo debut date has been set for the end of July.”

The agency also revealed that Kang Daniel’s upcoming solo debut track was produced by Devine Channel CEO and producer Kei Lim. The producing team has previously created hit songs for artists such as BTS, EXO, and TWICE. Devine Channel is also said to have collaborated with Geoffro Cause’s world-famous producing team for the mini album.

Kinda hard to explain but Produce 101 was really big in season 2 and he was no.1 which tells you how much interested people are in him. He's a good dancer but not an exceptional singer or rapper. He's also adorable (in some ways).

he had a lot of screen time on season 2 of produce 101 and people found him attractive for his "cute face and hot body". he also had a friendship with one of the younger trainees and they milked tf out if it to get him more screen time.

as someone who doesn't watch produce 101 but has seen him on other varieties, He can dance, is charismatic when performing, seems super polite and adorable, popular with Noonas. He popularized a dance move he did on Produce so he always got asked to do it on varieties.

He was on Running Man, Dangerous outside the blankets, Happy Together and Master Key

I think they're making a mistake making that info public. it's a quick way to get you blacklisted from things affiliated with major labels (like tv shows and broadcasting) by poaching talent.

I don't know if it works that way in their industry but you do have a point. I'm not sure why they shared that one of the executives from CUBE will transfer to help manage Daniel's debut.

Finally! I'm so happy he's able to get out there again. Now I'm just hoping for a bop. He's the one I've been most interested in seeing after Wanna One finished, so I hope he can deliver.
