THIS, thank you, oh my freaking god. It’s like saying you can’t criticise Nicki Minaj working with a rapist because it would be anti feminist. Or to stop deplatforming that Milo dude because it’s homophobic. Are people seriously that oblivious to how cartoonishly evil the Saudi regime is? How many Muslim lives they’re destroying? They are not a vulnerable minority, they’re one of the most untouchable entities in the world. They don’t give a shit about anything or anyone that doesn’t help put more power and money in their pockets, and even then they’ll make you disappear once your usefulness has run out. Saudi Arabia doesn’t do shit for Arabs or for Muslims.

Islamophobia is having your hijab pulled off by strangers in the street. It’s being held back at customs or maybe even sent back after an 18 hour flight because of your name or the country you happened to be born in (unless you’re Saudi in which case no worries! You’re taken care of :)). It’s people leaving ham on your doorstep. It’s not being able to get a job because people don’t want to hire a Muslim. It’s white extremists shooting up mosques. It is NOT wanting a billionaire boy band to refrain from putting more money towards and lending soft power and credibility to a regime that has so little regard for human life that it kills Muslims and minorities for fun, because from the looks of it? It’s super effective.

Just a week ago we were laughing at EXO being paraded around Donald Trump. Now we’re just waiting for BTS to break yet another record by topping that with Mohammad bin Salman selfies.

Exactly this. People are off their rocker to accuse anyone who advocates boycotting brutal regimes with Islamaphobia. If Bts boycotted my home country because of our government/HR violations, I'd respect it because it's well deserved, not say my rights were being infringed to not attend a concert.

God I hope they don't go near Mohammad Bone Saw. Even from a purely PR perspective that would be a disaster
