Flashback Friday

It’s Friday! Every week I check the charts for this day in the past and post the top three songs. Then I pick out two more from the top ten as honorable mentions. All the songs have been posted before, so we’ll see some live stages. This week we’ll go back to the 1st week in August, 2011. I can’t believe this was 8 years ago, I remember these songs like yesterday.

#3 MBLAQ “Mona Lisa”
When I hear this song I always think about that posing choreography during the chorus. It’s my most vivid memory of this era lol. What is Mir wearing? It’s attached to his pants too wtf I can’t.

#2 T-ara “Roly Poly”
One of the biggest songs of the year, and probably the group’s biggest hit? I’ve posted the original version of the song before, so let’s hear the remix! “Roly Poly in Copacabana” was released about month after the original song as part of an album repackage.

#1 Miss A “Good Bye Baby”
Third time posting, so here’s another remix. This is the group’s stage at MBC Gayo that year, with a slow tempo version of the song. Also, stylist unnie where are you I just want to talk. Those pants look okay on Fei because her top matches, but ugh these outfits are not really flattering at all.

Honorable Mentions

#4 Hyuna “Bubble Pop”
I still do the dance to this idgaf lol. Anytime I hear it, at my house or at your house or at the dumpling aisle at H-Mart, I’m gonna bubble bubble bubble pop bubble bubble pop pop my little booty to it. It’s still a really fun summer song.

#5 Infinite “Be Mine”

This was the lead single off of the group’s first album. It would also give them their first ever music show win. The choreo is so good! Fan chants sound good too! Such a good sing-a-long song.
