#3 Boa “Only One”
This song was written and produced by Queen Boa herself. I’ve posted the dance version before (because I’ll always choose a Boa dance version video lol), so here’s the drama MV. The video stars actor Yoo Ah In, who I actually didn’t recognize with that haircut wtf. It took me a minute lol. That haircut looks off, right? Just me?
#2 Sistar “Loving U”
Summer Queens I miss you sooo much! Will I be slathering on the sunscreen and laying out by the pool with this song on heavy rotation at some point this weekend? Hell to the yaasss! They’re so pretty and cute and I loved all the styling this era. This song was the single off of a special summer album of the same name.
#1 PSY “Gangnam Style”
A live stage from his summer concert, which he holds every year. This one was from 2012, and about a month after the song first came out. It went to the top of the charts, and stayed at #1 for weeks in Korea. And then it would go on and hit various world charts in the coming months. Couldn’t escape it lol.
#5 2NE1 “I Love You”
Probably my favorite styling era from them. Oh so luxe and glam! Dara’s hair still makes me so happy and unworthy at the same time. Here’s their comeback stage at Inkigayo, with an intro that a year later would be revealed to be a snippet of the group’s next single, “Falling In Love”. This stage is damn gorgeous.
#8 Beast “Beautiful Night”
This is my favorite song from them. I didn’t like the MV at all, but I really liked the live performances. These stages are so much more relaxed than their usual performances with all the hard choreography. They looked like they had fun, and the song is really fun too.
