[Extraordinary You]
Based on a fantasy romance webtoon, “Extraordinary You” tells the story of a high school student named Eun Dan Oh (played by Kim Hye Yoon), who comes to the shocking realization that she is actually a character in a manhwa. Eun Dan Oh subsequently attempts to defy her predetermined fate by rewriting her own story.

Eun Dan Oh is the only daughter of a well-off family, and she is shown to be harboring a 10-year-long crush on Baek Kyung (played by Lee Jae Wook), who is the son of her father’s business partner and one of the top three students — called the A3 — at their school. However, Eun Dan Oh then falls in love with an unassuming extra, No. 13 (played by SF9’s Rowoon), who later takes the name Ha Roo.

Meanwhile, the two other members of A3, Oh Nam Joo (played by Kim Young Dae) and Lee Do Hwa (played by Jung Gun Joo), are rivals in a love triangle with Yeo Joo Da (played by APRIL‘s Naeun). Yeo Joo Da is being bullied by Oh Nam Joo’s fanclub, which is one of several character subgroups at the school.

[My Country]
Set during the end of the Goryeo period to the early Joseon period. Two friends aim their swords against one another due to differences in opinion about "my country."

Seo Hwi (Yang Se-Jong) is a warrior. His father Seo Geom is a famous commander. Seo Hwi does not compromise when it comes to injustice. His life devolves into a hellish existence, but he still holds a smile. Nam Sun-Ho (Woo Do-Hwan) is smart and a talented figure. Because his mother was born into the lowest class, Nam Sun-Ho is looked down upon by other people. He wants to pass the military service examination. Due to a corruption scandal involving his father, Nam Sun-Ho loses his dream. Making things worse, he comes into conflict with Seo Hwi over a misunderstanding. Also stars Seolhyun and Jang Hyuk.

[The Lies Within]
Jo Tae-Sik (Lee Min-Ki) was once an enthusiastic detective, but he now wants a different kind of life. He longs for a peaceful and ordinary existence. Because of this, Jo Tae-Sik applies for a transfer to a police substation in a small country village without many residents. Meanwhile, Jo Tae-Sik takes a case involving the death of Lawmaker Kim Seung-Cheol. He died in a car accident, but Jo Tae-Sik senses that the car accident is not so clear-cut. The lawmaker's son-in-law then goes missing.

Kim Seo-Hee (Lee Yoo-Young) is the youngest daughter of the late lawmaker and her husband is now missing. She married her husband to benefit both of their families, but their relationship hasn't been so good. Kim Seo-Hee becomes a lawmaker to find the truth behind her father's death and save her missing husband. Jo Tae-Sik and Kim Seo-Hee soon uncover a conspiracy and try to reveal the truth.

“Leverage” is a remake of the U.S. TNT television series of the same name and follows Lee Tae Joon, a former insurance investigator turned con man who gets together with a team of con artists to target the wealthy and corrupt.

Lee Dong Gun plays Lee Tae Joon, the charismatic leader of the con team. Jeon Hye Bin is Hwang Soo Kyung, an actress who has zero talent on stage but is a star con artist. Kim Sae Ron plays Go Na Byul, a reckless, feisty thief. Kim Kwon is Roy Ryu, a human weapon. Yeo Hoe Hyun is Jung Ui Sung, the tech brains behind the scenes.

[Catch the Ghost]
“Catch the Ghost” is an investigative drama about police officers who guard the subway as they try to catch a serial killer known as “Ghost.” Yoo Ryung (Moon Geun Young) is a passionate rookie recruit in the subway police while Go Ji Seok (Kim Sun Ho) is her rule-abiding superior officer.

Their coworkers include Lee Man Jin (Jo Jae Yoon), who has been working as a subway police officer for 17 years. Kang Soo Ho (Ahn Seung Gyun) is a rookie detective. Ha Ma Ri (Jung Yoo Jin) is the squad leader of the investigative unit, and Kim Woo Hyuk (Ki Do Hoon) is a detective who works with Ha Ma Ri.

“VIP” tells the story of an elite team that manages VIP clients at a department store. Lee Sang Yoon plays the team leader, Park Sung Joon, and Jang Nara plays his colleague and wife, Na Jung Sun, who discovers a series of secrets after she receives an anonymous text. Lee Chung Ah plays Lee Hyun Ah, the brilliant ace who is in charge of the most VIP customers. Pyo Ye Jin and Kwak Sun Young complete the lineup as Ohn Yoo Ri and Song Mina, also employees on the team.

Only a few new dramas compared to last month, but I'm looking forward to most of these. Extraordinary You has a fun premise and looks cute (plus Rowoon, heart eyes). My Country has leads I love, we'll see if I can get into a sageuk. OCN always makes great shows and The Lies Within seems like it could be good. I've been waiting for a Leverage drama for years, I hope they do the original justice, I need more teasers to come out to see if the tone is right because the teaser I linked is way too serious. I have a serious love for Kim Sun Ho so I'm looking forward to Catch The Ghost. What are you interested in, Omona?
