Flashback Friday

It’s Friday! Every week I go through the past charts for this day and share the top three songs. Then I pick out two more from the top ten as honorable mentions. This week, we’re going back 4 years to the 3rd week of October, 2015. I don’t remember much of this week, maybe you remember more.

#3 Ailee “Mind Your Own Business”
This was the lead single off of her first full album. She looks so gorgeous! I like her styling here. And I love that whole look with the black dress. She fractured her foot during the filming of the MV, and I do remember her doing the music shows sitting down. But I still don’t remember the music video or the song at all wtf.

#2 iKon “Rhythm Ta”
This was one of the seven debut singles from the group’s first album, “Welcome Back”. I think the only thing I remember is the “rhythm ta” part. I don’t remember anything else. Omg that giant bulldog bobblehead?!? Why is that there and can I get one for my backyard?

#1 Red Velvet “Dumb Dumb”
“Dumb Dumb” was the single off of the group’s first full album, “The Red”. It would go on to win first place awards at the music shows for a month. Here’s their comeback stage at Mnet. I remember those slap bracelets thingies lol. I think that’s like my biggest memory from these live performances wtf.

Honorable Mentions

#5 Got7 “If You Do”
Looks like everyone was busy getting angry at their exes and busting up cars on the chart this week. I don’t know if I remember this song or if I’m confusing it with something else. Lots of cool choreography here, and they’re doing a shuffley feet dance! I love a shuffley feet dance a la Beast.

#10 Park Kyung featuring Park Boram “Ordinary Love”
This was the debut solo from Block B’s Park Kyung, and it would debut at the top of the charts. This is so cute! Like, just so damn adorable. Besides singing the song, Park Boram also stars as one half of the couple, along with model Joo Eojin and his cheekbones.

I remember Ailees mv for this song, the punching choreo and the lady police, but not the song itself. She looks absolutely gorgeous & the styling rocks!

I went back to the MV post for got7 and totally forgot how split the is it good or not comments were. That said it definitely was a turning point for their image that I will greatly appreciate. I dont think BamBam has worn anything other than leather booties since

Dumb dumb was soooo fun
Made me buy a slap bracelet which I had for a month and then lost. Really did remind me of my childhood lol

I think the main reason I love Rhythm Ta is that one video of Bomi where she calls Bobby "my boobie" and raps his part in karaoke. Mainly because that's pretty much how I sound when I try to sing it as well lmao.

If You Do is legend tbh, I'm a little mad they didn't play it live in London it's one of my all time fav GOT7 songs <33
