welcome back!

How much did you eat? It's so relatively inexpensive, right? On my winter trip, I was so happy with all the various soups, everywhere, everyday, soups. And it's just so dang easy to drink there.

I cannot believe you partied until 9am. Jesus, even when I was young, I only made it to 3 like twice. Europeans (and South Americans) are wild. What did you think of partying there? I've been to a few clubs in Gangnam, and was either ignored or people were so excited to practice their English.

Hello!!! sorry for the late reply TT
We def spent a lot in food but because we ate a lot, and we did a few good restaurents. But you're right, many places are actually really cheap! There were so many soups - also as a "second dish", for example we ate at a fish/seafood restaurent in Jeju and they brought us spicy fish soup to end our meal.
Even when I was younger, I was never able to spend the whole night partying without crashing down at some point XD I once fell asleep in a club; the group of friends had made a big pile with our bags and clothes on seats not far from the dancefloor and I just land on there, hahaha. By 9am my body was shutting down, so I went back to the flat and slept until 1pm XD I'm surprised I was able to go on for so long! but it was really fun!!! I visited a lot but was still able to experience Seoul's nights, I feel like I had both of two worlds :)
We only went to one Pocha in Gangnam, otherwise we went to Itaewon (where our flat was, and where it's easy to party lol especially when one friend in the group knew exactly which clubs to go and which to avoid) and once Hongdae (but even then, we ended up in Itaewon from 3 to 5am lol). We were mostly left to ourselves, but there were always a few people interested in speaking in English :) otherwise I found the Korean people we met very welcoming, but in a distant way? They let you be and respect your space but if you're available to talk, they'll talk as well.
