A Korean BL (Boy Love) Series coming soon!

W Story and Energedic Company will be co-producing the BL (Boys Love) web drama “Where Your Eyes Linger.”

“Where Your Eyes Linger” will tell the story of Tae Joo and Gook, two youths who are 18 years old (by Korean reckoning).

Former “Produce X 101” contestant Han Gi Chan will play Tae Joo, a chaebol who is part of a “royal family” and is unpredictable. Next to him will be Gook, Tae Joo’s friend and bodyguard who has an intimidating aura and always keeps close to Tae Joo. Gook will be played by Jang Eui Su, who has appeared in dramas like “Bad Papa” and “He Is Psychometric.”

Joining them will be Choi Gyu Ri, who has appeared in music videos for Super Junior’s “Magic” and BTOB’s “Dear Bride,” as she plays the role of Hye Mi, an extroverted and energetic student who moves to Tae Joo and Gook’s school. Jeon Jae Young, who has appeared in the web drama “Lovers in the Palace,” will play Pil Hyun, who kept getting his girlfriends stolen by Tae Joo and winds up becoming friends with him, and is confused why Gook seems to view him as competition.

The web drama will be directed by Hwang Da Seul, who wrote the web drama “Love As You Taste” and won an award at the Catholic Film Festival with the 2018 short film “Spring in Summer.”

“Where Your Eyes Linger” will have a total of eight episodes of 10 minutes each. It will premiere on May 22, and a director’s cut will be released in cinemas in June.

Soon as the news came out, I received a couple of messages from my friends. They know I've been watching a lot of Thai BL series lately (which I really love!). I am interested to see how Soth Korea will react to this. I also hope its a good story. Have you watched any BL stories Omona?
