wow, i was NOT expecting that. props to yge i guess.

but did they take out the overall fetishized middle eastern/south asian culture mashup? can't rewatch the mv right now but i'm guessing it's a no
I didn't know you could edit a video without deleting/re-uploading it, huh
SM also edited Soshi's IGAB back in 2013, so the feature is not new.

Yea I’m not giving YG props for something that shouldn’t been there in the first place. They’ll fuck up again sometime soon

But I guess if the fans that were affected by this and the messed up fans attacking them view this as their way to enjoy the MV again, I’m happy for them
but.....did they even release a statement of apology or anything?? lol they deserve no praise for quietly removing something that shouldn’t have been there in the first place.
Yeah, when I saw the article I scrolled for the statement. None. So basically YG took the easiest way out of this that they knew fans would accept. Remove it with no apology and keep all the views. And they still haven't apologized for the insensitive and rude Middle Eastern culture references and hijacking lines.

I will keep saying it: BP deserve better than YG!

Does anyone know when their contract expires?

Ppl are wet for BP's music and their sound is the same recycled shit from 2Ne1 just 10 years later. TEDDY/YG are a one trick pony and ppl still eat it like like their shit is gourmet food, rme.

I feel like YG took the success of IATB and decided to keep making variations of that song with the same strong structure. I also feel like YG never fully understood why people connected with 2ne1 in the first place (probably couldn't get past their looks) and a lot of it had to do with their lyrics being written to directly appeal to and connect with young women. Now I feel like everything is surface level. The lyrics are nonsense, but visually it's stunning. But hey, it's working for them.
But the arabian night cliché stay
I suppose mocking the middle east while talking about highjacking plane is fine
I don't understand their appeal.
They're basically instagram models that lack any sort of distinct personality but are visually marketed around four distinct tropes, making it extremely easy to self insert. (The lack of both musical output and personality based content play a big part in this strategy by YG.)

Also their music has strong levels of "I'm not like other girls~", which alot of ifans are unfortunately attracted to.

I mean this is only a small part of what they should have done, what about acknowledging their mistake and promising to do better? They really ain’t shit for this.
as long as they don't see it affecting their bottom line they're not gonna apologize and we can expect stuff like this in the future unfortunately
