#3 After School “Flashback”
The group spent the first half of 2012 with Japanese promotions, before heading back to Korea to release this song in June. If I’m not mistaken, this was the group’s penultimate Korean release, and personally my last fav from the group. This was also the first comeback without Kahi, and the first one with Kaeun. Here’s their comeback stage on Music Core with the white outfits oh I loved those white outfits so much!
#2 Wonder Girls “Like This”
In a year filled with American and Japanese promotions, the group took some time out to release a mini in Korea, with “Like This” as the lead single. I wasn’t a fan of this song. This was the flash mob one…that’s all I really remember from this era. Oh, I remember Lim looking adorable this era too. Hope you’re getting ready for more Wonder Girls reunions at her wedding next week!
#1 f(x) “Electric Shock”
This was the single off the group’s second EP of the same name, and would debut at the top spot. It would go on to get nine music show wins. I think the only thing I remember about this era was not liking it. This choreography would also win them Best Female Dance Performance at MAMA that year.
#6 Teen Top “To You”
This sounds like another song. Does anyone else know what I’m talking about because I can’t place it. I don’t remember this MV at all (and even more Teen Top crotch grabbing choreo that I don’t remember either I say it every time but every time I’m like what the fuck bro), but I think I remember the live stages of this. Just because the song sounds so familiar to me. But a faster version of it? I don’t know.
#10 Dal Shabet “Mr. Bang Bang”
This was the single off of their first (and only) full studio album. It was the first song featuring new member Woohee, who was announced to be joining the group just a few weeks prior. This is my favorite song from them. I’m not sure why lol. I think it’s the cutesy line dance choreography, especially during the “oh oh oh oh oh” part.
