Actor Zo In-sung will join Cha Tae-hyun to co-host "Unexpected Business," tvN's latest reality show about escaping from city life.
This is Zo's first time to be part of the main cast of a reality show, although he has made guest appearances on different shows in the past such as SBS' "Running Man" and KBS2's "Happy Together 3."
Created by Yoo Ho-jin, a star producer behind many successful TV shows such as KBS2's "2 Days & 1 Night," and the production team of tvN's "Hometown Flex," the show revolves around two friends running a small grocery store in the countryside.
It intends to offer "healing" time for viewers by offering a glimpse of life outside of the city and showing the stars engage in conversation with local customers who visit their shop.
Zo's fans are looking forward to getting to know the actor's real-life personality through the show. "Killer trio! Cha Tae-hyun, producer Yoo Ho-jin and Zo In-sung… Can't wait," one user wrote online.
The show will invite several actors as guests throughout the episodes, including "Start-Up" actor Nam Joo-hyuk and "Oh My Ghost" actress Park Bo-young. The actors' interactions with locals will make the show more interesting, according to the broadcaster.
The teaser video, released on Sunday, featured Cha commenting on Zo's off-screen personality, saying "Zo is not a funny guy. His personality is just like everyone else. My biggest concern is, 'If we star together in a reality show, will it be entertaining?'" to which Zo answered, "If it's not entertaining, then I'll return to acting."
Since debuting as an actor in 2002, Zo has starred in multiple hit films including "The King" (2016) and The Great Battle" (2017) and TV series like "The Winter the Wind Blows" (2013) and "It's Okay That's Love" (2014). He is set to return to the silver screen with action film "Mogadishu" this year.
"Unexpected Business" will premiere on Feb. 25.
