Famously known as the "Chinese import" of the highly-successful Korean boyband, Super Junior, Han Kyung reportedly filed a request to terminate his contract last December. This has led to a long ongoing battle between the artiste and his Korean management company, SM Entertainment.
Hailing from Mudanjiang, China, Han Kyung was propelled to international stardom after becoming a member of Super Junior. Apart from that, he is also the group leader of the band's subgroup, Super Junior-M, which was nominated for last year's Golden Melody Awards.
Fans of the Chinese singer are worried about his career prospects after he revealed his decision to go solo, but it seems like their fears are unfounded.
According to Chinese reports, the 26-year-old has been prepping for a comeback to the Chinese music industry. He reportedly enlisted the help of renowned Taiwanese music producer Yuan Weiren, Zhang Yadong, and various others in the recording of his first solo album.
While Yuan Weiren has confirmed rumours of a possible upcoming collaboration, Han Kyung has remained tight-lipped over this project and is said to be halfway through the album recording. The versatile performer will be making a comeback with a dance number.
