While I also want to see bigger girls and I agree weight shouldn't be made know to the public since the lie about it anyway in Kpop, shaming women for being smaller isn't the way. You have no idea about these girls health and you can even begin to know anything about their health by their weight alone. Wether you meant to or not your comment comes across as shaming and you at least kind of understood that since you went and gave all these reasons why your not shaming them.

Tl;dr there are ways of trying to say what you wanted to say with out shaming these girls for their weight

:( I get what you're saying and wholeheartedly agree...I deliberately tried to phrase it so it wouldn't come off as shaming :/ I mean, I was hardly 'oh these skinny bishes how dare they how unhealthy I like curvy girls'. What I meant was, while they may be healthy, the fact that nearly all of these idol girls are underweight promotes an unhealthy body image to girls who don't look like that, making them feel bad about the way they look, and possibly making them attempt to slim down beyond what is healthy (for them), which is bad. And we know that the girls don't always look like that naturally; idols are often told to diet and they dance for hours a day and don't sleep enough, etc.

I really didn't mean to sound horrible to the thin girls THEMSELVES :( sorry!

Does that make sense?

no i got what you were trying to say because it definitely promotes an ideal of women's beauty that is unobtainable for most especially when they lie about about their weights to seem skinnier then they are it was really just bad word choice. I really think if they are going to list weights which imo shouldnt be apart of their profiles anyway they shouldnt lie about it and specifically choose a lower number because that is what is considered ideal. I also wish girl groups in general would stop focusing on their diets when on talk shows etc etc but I think thats just me

Yeah, agree 100% with this comment.

Sorry, shouldn't have combined my feelings/ranting about my weight vs the K-Pop ideal with discussing how the ideal is harmful in general; it just came across a bit bitter and mean. Not how I meant it! :)
