Snowpiercer needs to be on your radar Omona

Bong Joon-ho's SNOWPIERCER Rumbles To Life
After literally years of preparation The Host director Bong Joon-ho has finally begun principal photography on his English language debut, Snow Piercer.

An adaptation of the popular French graphic novel Le Transperceneige, Snow Piercer boasts an impressive international cast - Song Kang-ho, Ewan Bremner, John Hurt, Chris Evans, Tilda Swinton, Jamie Bell and more - and the presence of Oldboy director Park Chan-wook as a producer.

Principal photography began last week in the Czech Republic and will continue until we're all frozen under a thick layer of ice.

The Host stars join Bong Joon-ho’s international sci-fi thriller
A-list director Bong Joon-ho (Mother) is bringing back a couple of stars from one of his biggest hits, The Host, for his newest project, Snowpiercer, which sounds like quite the large-scale sci-fi/thriller/action venture. In it, Go Ah-sung (God of Study) and Song Kang-ho team up to play a father-daughter duo, as they did six years ago in The Host.

Snowpiercer is based on a French sci-fi graphic novel wherein passengers of a train struggle to survive in a frozen-cold world covered in snow. It also boasts an impressive international cast of actors from the States, Japan, France, and England: Attached to star are John Hurt, Octavia Spencer, Jamie Bell, and Tilda Swinton. Furthermore, director Park Chan-wook (Thirst, Oldboy) is attached to produce.

Snowpiercer is scheduled to begin principal photography on April 16, although the production will jet to Austria at the end of March for preparatory shoots. It’ll wrap in July, and release in 2013.

YOU GUYS. This is seriously the most amazing thing. Tilda Swinton? John Hurt? Chris Evans, Jaime Bell, Octavia, Freddie from Skins, etc, etc... The director of The Host and Mother and flawfree Song Kang-ho? Production by Park Chan-wook? I am so not ready for this.
