Immortal Song 2

Huh Gak and Huh Gong

Ulala Session

Sunggyu did really well. Huh Gak & his brother, though... They were phenomenal! Seriously can't tell them apart, it's kinda creepy.

Poor Sunggyu, having to go up against Huh Gak and Huh Gong (he did right?). They're both so talented.

But Gyu did really well, I'm so proud of him. He sounds amazing when he isn't incredibly breathy. I keep replaying 0:31-0:45 for some reason. The song he was singing was really nice too. My only wish was that he'd just sung it like in the earlier parts without the whole band and backup singers.

So happy this is out =).

The Huh Gak & Huh Gong performance was really good. It's so unbelievably heartwarming to see 2 brothers singing together on stage, I almost cried when they teared up.

K.Will was great as always, he had everyone crying.

But, my true reason for checking this post out was to see Sunggyu's performance ;). I am so happy because his performance was freaking beautiful, can't wait for the next one.

Ailee was my favorite this week!

All of them are really good singers, but what I really came away with is that YUE is great at arranging songs lol. Most of the time I have to force myself through all the slow and boring parts of performances on IS because the arrangement is just blehhh. But Sunggyu's voice sounds really nice against that arrangement(it was too loud in the middle though wah) and I love most of his arrangements of Infinite's songs so yeah. Talent acknowledged.

I agree with basically everything you said about Sunggyu's performance! :p I wish it hadn't been so loud at some parts too because it's not so much that Sunggyu wasn't loud enough, it's more like the voice and instrument volume just didn't really fit with each other. I basically just went through INFINITE's discography wikipedia to see which songs YUE has been involved with. lol

I'm so proud of Sunggyu! He did incredibly well despite being a nervous adorable mess for the whole show lol! His voice is so smooth and lovely :3 had me squealing thru the entire performance!XD I knew he most likely wouldn't win against huh gak and his bro but gyu conquered his 1st stage very well so I'm happy for him!:)

Omg K. Will's performance had me all teary eyed and clutching my chest! He sang with such painfully beautiful emotion ;~;
Noel were my other favs of the night. They're amazing!

Any Younha cuts? She was backstage but there's no clip of her singing anywhere... she participated this week, right? :(

sunggyu has a lovely voice, but he needs to tone down the facial expressions. it's affecting his singing.

I really love Sunggyu's voice and how he performs. I can always feel genuine emotions in his voice when he sings. That's what I adore in his singing even when he gets all breathy. I'm really happy that he is on IS2 now and we will get to see more of him.
Was he put against Huh Gak? oh damn... There is no way to win against Huh Gak and Huh Gong. I was amazed by their performance!
In so many cases IS2 seemed like a snooze-fest for me and I checked only a couple of performances but I was pleasantly surprised by this episode!
