Nichkhun involved in a minor car accident while driving under the influence

2PM‘s Nichkhun has been allegedly caught driving under the influence of alcohol.

On July 24th at 3:30AM, Nichkhun was involved in a car accident while driving in Gangnam. The singer was allegedly under the influence of alcohol when he rear-ended a motorcycle.

His blood alcohol level was measured at 0.056%, a percentage where he will be subjected to his license becoming suspended.

An official from Gangnam’s police station informed Dispatch over the telephone July 24th, “After measuring his alcohol content at the site [of the incident], it was concluded that Nichkhun was not severely intoxicated. Immediately after the accident, Nichkhun and the victim were investigated by the police.”

No one was injured at the scene, and there was no serious damage to either vehicle. The police station official continued, “It was a small accident and neither Nichkhun nor the victim were injured. Both vehicles were insured, and Nichkhun has taken measures to safely return home following his investigation.”

What's the blood alcohol level limit thing in Korea? Just out of curiosity because I know here it's 0.08

it's Asian,,their body is smaller than US so it's consider as 2-3 beer,,cmiiw

0,05 is about 1 alcoholic beverage... a person can have an alcohol level of 0,02 naturally (because of anaerobic metabolism).

SK has a special system with the allowed Blood Alcohol Content

0.01–0.049 = No Penalty
0.05–0.09 = 100 days license suspension
>0.10 = Cancellation of car license.

Edit: oops sorry I retract what I said about it being a zero-tolerance policy sorry I misread the chart at first
